• What is Line-X Xtra?
Line-X Xtra is a high performance three-component urethane topcoat designed through a cooperative
research and development effort between Line-X Corporation and DuPont Performance Coatings.
Line-X Xtra urethane topcoat is applied over Line-X 100 series base material, during the primary
application process. Line-X Xtra urethane topcoat is formulated with DuPont™ KevlarŪ micro pulp,
which is incorporated into the binder/resin system. A urethane activator and accelerator are added to
this product to produce a composite coating.
• Why was Line-X Xtra developed?
In some rare cases, two to four years after the spray-on application, the bedliner color begins to fade.
Recently, in an effort to resolve this ongoing issue within the spray-on bedliner industry, Line-X and
DuPont Performance Coatings developed a product developmental partnership and produced the new
product offering, Line-X Xtra High Performance Bedliner Top Coating.
Line-X Xtra offers an ultra-violet (UV) urethane topcoat that will protect and maintain that “new gloss”
appearance for the discriminate truck owner.
• Does Line-X Xtra replace Line-X?
No, Line-X Xtra does not replace Line-X. Line-X Xtra is a high performance urethane topcoat that is
applied as the topcoat overlay, in combination with the Line-X Spray-On Truck Bedliner base material,
during the spray-on application process.

A.Line-X Xtra is available in black, however efforts are currently underway to launch a color series later in
2005 / 2006. The color material will meet the demand for a spray in bed liner that is the same shade as
the truck’s exterior. The Vehicle Color and the Truckbed Color, it’s known as “color partnering.”

A.Yes. Line-X Xtra offers improved UV and scratch resistance over conventional bedliner systems.
